Qualifications

• Must be skilled in various trades including fabric, painting & decorating, basic plumbing, and joinery work.
• Previous FM building maintenance experience is required.
• Customer-facing attitude and ability to work well as a team.

• Perform general building repairs and maintenance including joinery, painting, and plumbing.

Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated inGlasgow City Centre.CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Maintenance Engineer to be based on a unique building located inGlasgow. The successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance
Hours:
Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00
Key responsibilities:

• A proven track record of facilities maintenance ideally within commercial / high end properties
• Experience in joinery
• Experience in painting, wallpapering basic plastering/making good
• Carry out general building repair and maintenance
• Changing of locks, door closures and door furniture
• Basic plumbing and small leak repairs
• Painting, decorating and making good
• Fitting of carpet tiles
• Assist engineers where possible
• General carpentry skills
• Carrying out PPM tasks

Person specification:

• Must be a skilled in various trades including : fabric, painting & decorating, basic plumbing, joinery work
• Previous FM building maintenance experience
• Customer facing attitude
• Ability to work well as a team
• Driving license (preferable)
• Ability to be flexible with work hours
• Disclosure Scotland checks
