Job Title: Fabric Technician

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Fabric Technician to join the team located in Crawley.

Role Summary:

1. Respond to reactive works within the team
2. Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales
3. Liaise with Client representatives regarding maintenance & repair tasks
4. Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works
5. Repair floor and wall coverings
6. Responsible for ceiling tile repairs and replacements
7. Handle other building and installation works as required
8. Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHU’s / FCU’s, and basic plumbing requirements
9. Utilise PDA to complete works, communicate, and update
10. Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner
11. Undertake minor project works
12. Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations
13. Perform all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager

Experience Required:

1. Previous Fabric, Carpentry experience
2. Experience working in high-profile environments
3. City & Guilds or NVQ Equivalent in carpentry
4. Current UK driver’s license
5. PC literate
6. Good customer relationship skills
7. Ability to interpret technical drawings/instructions/processes
8. Organisational skills to manage tasks and determine material requirements
