Maintenance Operative – Commercial Sites
Location:Brighton
Contract Length:Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rate:£14.42 Per Hour PAYE-Equivilent to £30,000 per annum.

We’re recruiting a dependable and skilled maintenance operative to support across commercial sites in Brighton and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive works across a portfolio of commercial properties.
• Conduct general fabric maintenance, including but not limited to carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, minor repairs, and other building fabric duties.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while working independently across various sites.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar building/fabric maintenance role.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Strong fault-finding skills and proactive approach to maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence – this is essential.
