Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Technologist to join a friendly, fast-paced fashion supplier based in Central London. The ideal candidate will be proficient in fabric testing, compliance, and sustainability, with confidence in client presentations and building strong relationships with retail teams.

The role involves overseeing fabric development and testing, including shrinkage, flammability, colour fastness, and customer-specific standards. You will collaborate with mills, factories, and garment techs to troubleshoot quality issues and serve as a key contact for retail partners, guiding fabric choices, testing, and certification processes.

You will review test reports, manage certification documentation, and ensure compliance with standards such as REACH, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, and others. Experience with sustainability frameworks like GRS, BCI, and ZDHC is highly desirable. The role also includes supporting compliance audits and chemical management practices across the supply chain.

Candidates should be technically confident, commercially aware, and excellent communicators, comfortable discussing RSLs and interpreting lab reports.

In return, you will join a supportive team, working from our Central London office five days a week, collaborating with designers, account managers, and customers to deliver compliant and responsible products to the high street.
