FAA A&P Mechanics | Long-Term Contract | East Midlands Airport (EMA)

We’re excited to present a long-term opportunity for experienced FAA A&P Mechanics to work on the iconic Queen of the Skies – the B747 at East Midlands Airport (EMA) in the UK.

Join a top-tier maintenance team with flexible shifts, competitive pay rates, and the chance to gain experience on wide-body aircraft in a supportive environment.

Location: East Midlands Airport, UK

Position: FAA A&P Mechanic

Aircraft Experience: B747-400 experience preferred; other wide-body experience considered

Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing

Start Date: Immediate and rolling throughout the year

Pay Rates: Updated competitive rates

Requirements:

  • Valid FAA A&P license
  • Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft maintenance (wide-body preferred)
  • Knowledge of B747 systems (CF6 or PW4000 experience is a plus)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Ability to follow technical data, maintenance manuals, and complete documentation accurately
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
  • Flexibility for day/night shifts and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify faults and perform corrective actions
  • Ensure maintenance documentation is accurate and complete
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and airworthiness standards
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other mechanics for aircraft turnaround
