FAA A&P Mechanics | Long-Term Contract | East Midlands Airport (EMA)

We are offering a long-term opportunity for experienced FAA A&P Mechanics to work on the Queen of the Skies – the B747 at East Midlands Airport (EMA) in the UK.

This role provides a chance to join a top-tier maintenance team, with flexible shifts, competitive pay rates, and experience working on wide-body aircraft in a supportive environment.

Location: East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom

Position: FAA A&P Mechanic

Aircraft Experience: 747-400 experience preferred; other wide-body experience considered

Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing

Start Date: Immediate and rolling throughout the year

Pay Rates: Updated competitive rates

Requirements:

  • Valid FAA A&P license
  • Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft maintenance (wide-body preferred)
  • Knowledge of B747 systems (CF6 or PW4000 experience a plus)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Ability to follow technical data, maintenance manuals, and complete documentation accurately
  • Strong communication skills and team working ability
  • Flexibility for day/night shifts and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ensure accurate maintenance documentation
  • Maintain safety, quality, and airworthiness standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure aircraft turnaround
