Job description

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Employee Development Specialist-Learning Strategy / Partnering for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Berkeley, MO. Details for the position are as follows :

Job Description :

  • 38.00 - $43.00 / HR to start! W2
  • 12-month contract ( Potential to extend / convert based on performance / budget) (M-F 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM 80% onsite)
  • Conducts learning requirements analysis and establishes learning objectives. Designs and develops course content and instructional materials. Tests delivery environment and establishes system access requirements. Delivers content and assesses effectiveness based on learning objectives. Conducts customer workplace coaching sessions to improve individual or group performance. Deploys development tools and monitors implementation and performance outcomes.

Responsibilities include :

  • Develop and author Structured On-The-Job Training (SOJT) instructions to support aircraft mechanic learning and skill development, leveraging a supplier-provided tool for deployment.
  • Review existing work instructions and engineering process documentation to extract and define clear learning objectives.
  • Translate learning objectives into standardized SOJT materials using Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • Collaborate directly with functional stakeholders, IT personnel (internal and external), learning program managers, instructional developers, coaches, trainers, trainees, manufacturing managers, and project managers to ensure alignment across efforts.
  • Support integration and standardization of SOJT practices across multiple aerospace programs within a defense and space-focused business unit.
  • Adapt content and processes to align with program-specific needs, considering factors such as skill requirements, instruction complexity, production rates, and work instruction granularity.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts across multiple locations in the United States, encompassing both unionized and non-unionized workforce environments.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum HSD / GED required / Bachelors desired.
  • 10+ years related experience required - design and develop course content and instructional materials / conduct learning requirements analysis and establishes learning objectives
