Job summary

ea Change is seeking an experienced F5 Infrastructure Engineer to join a major UK banking organisation on a 6-month hybrid contract. You will design, configure and maintain F5 infrastructure and services across private and public clouds, contributing to CI/CD and automation efforts within a specialist delivery team.

The role requires strong BIG-IP expertise (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, AWAF), familiarity with AppViewX ADC+, DO and AS3, and solid skills in Python, Jenkins and GitHub.

Qualifications

• Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, AWAF).
• F5 automation/orchestration – AppViewX ADC+, DO and AS3.
• Networking, IP routing and firewalls.
• Python and enterprise integrations.
• Jenkins, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Private & public cloud environments.
• Modern cloud architectures including CaaS and IaaS.
• Agile methodologies and tooling.
• Complex infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Operational resilience and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test and maintain F5 infrastructure and services.
• Work across F5 BIG-IP components (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, AWAF).
• Build and deploy infrastructure across private and public cloud environments.
• Develop and support enterprise integrations and applications.
• Contribute to CI/CD and automation using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues.
• Operate within Agile delivery environments using Jira.
• Support operational resilience and security across critical infrastructure.
• Rapidly develop domain knowledge for the organisation's network and traffic management capabilities.
