Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic 3/4 to join our team at Volkel Air Base. The role involves installing, modifying, repairing, and maintaining aircraft structures, including composite and metallic components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify aircraft structural parts and assemblies.
• Repair aircraft structural defects and damages.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and power tools.
• Ensure conformity of materials and repairs according to specifications.
• Work as part of a team supporting depot level modifications and flight line support.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years (Level 3) or 6+ years (Level 4) of airframes/sheet metal experience.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher (US Citizenship required).
• Ability to read and interpret technical data.
• Successful completion of F-35 training for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• DoD Intermediate level sheet metal/airframes experience.
• Experience with aircraft modifications or resets.

Salary Range

$57,200 - $95,400, with potential bonuses and benefits.
