Job summary

Williams F1 Team seeks a Garage Technician to complete the preparation and build of the Event Garage and associated equipment for our Race Team. You will work to specifications, supporting pit stops and maintaining Williams Presentational Standards at events and the factory.

The role involves proactive collaboration with departments to report faults, install and test electrical systems, and ensure safety and performance across trackside and HQ operations.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognised electrical qualification.
• Motorsport garage experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.
• Proficient with MS Office and related tools.
• Attention to detail and multitasking under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Attend Williams UK sites, race events and other Formula 1 events as required.
• Carry out preparation, loading/unloading, build and disassembly of event equipment to issued specifications.
• Carry out tyre/wheel management and refuelling tasks during race/test events.
• Install, test and maintain garage systems including electrical installations.
• Ensure wiring and systems meet safety and technical standards.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults trackside and at HQ in Grove.
• Support other teams to meet event targets and standards.
• Take part in race pit stops and related training programs.
