Job summary

Alpine Racing UK is seeking an Electronics Technician to join the Race Support Team at Enstone, contributing to the preparation, assembly and care of electronic systems used on our Formula One cars. You will build, inspect and maintain critical electronics, work with engineering and trackside crews, and travel domestically and internationally as required during the Formula One season.

The role requires strong hands-on skills, ability to read drawings, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Strong practical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings or willingness to develop these skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness for regular domestic and international travel for race operations.
• Able to stay focused in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble electronic components for Formula One race cars to high quality standards.
• Complete build records and identify potential issues during assembly.
• Support fault finding and contribute to reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering to improve methods.
• Coordinate workloads with internal departments to meet schedules.
• Attend Race Support Team events and travel to Grand Prix events as required.
• Manage electrical consumables and maintain workshop standards.
