Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited in Enstone seeks an Electronics Technician to join the Race Support Team. You will build, inspect and maintain electronic assemblies for Formula One cars, collaborating with Engineering, Design and Production teams to ensure quality and reliability.

The role involves regular domestic and international travel, supporting race events and Grand Prix logistics, with a focus on precision, safety and continuous improvement within a high-speed environment.

Qualifications

• Strong practical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings and specifications, or willingness to develop these skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering work of the highest quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to undertake regular domestic and international travel in support of Race Support Team and Formula One operations.
• Able to remain focused and effective within a demanding, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble electronic components and assemblies for Formula One race cars to the highest quality standards.
• Accurately complete build records and identify potential issues during the assembly process.
• Support fault finding activities and contribute to reliability improvements through effective investigation and resolution of electronic issues.
• Work collaboratively with Design and Engineering teams to improve assembly and testing methods.
• Coordinate workloads and priorities with internal departments to meet operational requirements and build schedules.
• Attend Race Support Team events throughout the season and provide support at Grand Prix events when required.
