Job summary

Arden White Limited is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 12-month contract with a leading Formula 1 organisation in Northampton. The role targets specialists for key powertrain components, delivering design from concept through prove-out to race introduction.

Experience with highly stressed metallic parts and power unit systems is essential. NX or Catia proficiency and a valid UK work status are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Fluent on NX or Catia solid modelling.
• Experience in concept design of highly stressed parts.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems for Power Unit, from concept to race introduction.
• Deliver robust engineering designs with right-first-time principles and analysis.
• Create solid/surface models and engineering drawings for design release.
