A leading tech recruitment agency is seeking an experienced F-Sharp Software Developer for a contract position in London. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in F# or C# within .NET environments and a solid understanding of functional programming. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software applications, enhancing .NET codebases, and collaborating with teams. This role offers a competitive rate of £320 per day with a contract duration until December 2025, requiring on-site presence twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications using F-Sharp.
• Enhance and refactor existing .NET codebases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following secure-coding best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous-learning initiatives.

Skills

Role Purpose

To design, develop and enhance robust, efficient, and scalable software solutions using F-Sharp (or strong C-Sharp), applying functional-programming principles within the .NET ecosystem to meet business and technical requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an F# or C# Developer within .NET environments

• Solid understanding of functional programming concepts

• Familiarity with web and cloud-based application development

• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities
