Job description

F&O Dynamics Support Analyst

The F&O Dynamics Support Analyst is responsible for making complex configuration changes to business-critical systems, reporting into the Configuration Manager. They work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and testers to ensure the systems meet business needs and follow best practices.

Your core responsibilities

  • Carry out complex configuration of system enhancements, extensions, and integrations using industry-standard tools. Configure changes within Finance and Operations.
  • Coordinate testing and release management of configuration changes, working with test and release teams.
  • Work with the Configuration Manager to plan resource and training needs for the team.
  • Provide advice and guidance to users as necessary. Resolve incidents and system issues via the Biffa Service Now portal.
  • Provide input, advice, and review for application changes to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Stay updated on software releases from providers and advise the business on modules to adopt and the impact of new releases on Biffa processes.
  • Liaise and agree on complex configuration changes with the development team, including code reviews and impact analysis.
  • Support Functional Consultants in developing Functional & Technical Design documents and implementing changes.
  • Maintain and update security roles in Finance and Operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience configuring and managing enterprise applications and integrations, specifically Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations.
  • Experience following and enforcing change control procedures.
  • Good understanding of development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
