The F&O Dynamics Support Analyst is responsible for making complex configuration changes to business-critical systems, reporting into the Configuration Manager. They work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and testers to ensure the systems meet business needs and follow best practices.

Core responsibilities:

  • Carry out complex configuration of system enhancements, extensions, and integrations using industry-standard tools, specifically within Finance and Operations.
  • Coordinate testing and release management of configuration changes with testing and release teams.
  • Work with the Configuration Manager to plan resource allocation and training needs.
  • Provide advice and guidance to users; resolve incidents and system issues via Biffa ServiceNow portal.
  • Review application changes to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Stay updated on software releases, advising the business on module updates and impacts on Biffa processes.
  • Liaise with the development team on complex configuration changes, including code reviews and impact analysis.
  • Assist Functional Consultants in developing Functional & Technical Design documents and implementing system changes.
  • Maintain and update security roles in Finance and Operations.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience configuring and managing enterprise applications and integrations, specifically Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations.
  • Experience following and enforcing change control procedures.
  • Understanding of development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
