F&I Compliance Manager

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as an F&I Compliance Manager. In this role, your expertise will help us maintain systems and controls to ensure compliance with all applicable FCA regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar FCA regulated compliance role, preferably within automotive finance or retail financial services. Experience with FCA regulatory returns is also desirable, as this will be a key part of the role.

As F&I Compliance Manager, you will oversee a small team monitoring regulated activities, with a focus on Consumer Duty.

Key Skills and Attributes

• Positive, enthusiastic, and a team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Curious with strong root cause analysis skills
• Knowledge of the Consumer Credit and/or General Insurance Sector, preferably as an intermediary
• Understanding of FCA rules and guidance related to these sectors (CONC, ICOBS, Vulnerable Customer, Consumer Duty)
• Experience in coaching and training team members

Additional desirable attributes include:

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to find resolutions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

Work Environment and Benefits

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining work from home and office based in Leicester. During induction, office presence is required. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from am to pm, with a structured rota for home working. Commute should ideally be no longer than an hour from Leicester.
