Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a F-Gas Trainer and Assessor in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. You will train engineers, initially using your hands-on knowledge, and develop into delivering F-Gas and ODS training and assessments.

The role offers full training and development, a Monday–Friday working week, and a small, family-run environment where your industry experience makes a real difference.

Are you an experienced Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Engineer looking to come off the tools and take the next step in your career?

Would you like to use your industry experience to train the next generation of engineers, while gaining full training to become an F-Gas Trainer and Assessor?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, family-run private training provider where your industry experience will be genuinely valued. You will be joining a close-knit team that specialises in delivering high-quality technical training to engineers and apprentices.

The organisation has built a strong reputation for practical, industry-focused training and is now looking for an experienced Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Engineer to join the team and develop into a F-Gas Trainer and Assessor. You do not need previous teaching or assessing experience. The company will provide full training and support to help you develop the skills needed to deliver F-Gas training and assessments. This makes the role particularly suited to an engineer who has strong hands-on experience but has never considered teaching before.

You will initially use your existing technical knowledge while developing your teaching and assessment skills. Over time, you will become responsible for delivering F-Gas and ODS training, helping both new and experienced engineers gain the qualifications they need to progress within the industry.

The training will cover areas including refrigerant handling, F-Gas and ODS legislation, leak detection, pressure testing, pipework and brazing, environmental responsibilities and safe working practices. You will also support learners working towards Category 1-4 F-Gas certification, helping them develop both their practical skills and technical understanding.
