Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC/RAC professional to transition into a dedicated F-Gas and Refrigeration Trainer Assessor based in Northolt. The role offers full training and funded qualifications, with a clear pathway into education and department growth.

You will deliver practical and theory-based training, assess learners, and maintain documentation while supporting the department’s expansion and success. Salary is 39,000–44,000 with attractive benefits.

Qualifications

As an F-Gas & Refrigeration Trainer Assessor, you'll deliver training and assessment across F-Gas and Refrigeration courses, supporting candidates through both practical and theory-based learning. You'll carry out assessments and examinations, maintain accurate paperwork, support learner progress, and play a key role in developing and growing the department.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial RAC, HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning experience, alongside current F-Gas qualifications and at least 5 years' industry experience. Teaching or assessing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and qualifications can be funded and supported for the right person.

• Full-time permanent position based in Northolt.
• Occasional cover at the Luton site when required.
• Full trainer, assessor, and IQA qualification support provided.
• Salary increases available for additional course delivery scopes.

The person:

• HVAC, RAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning background.
• Current F-Gas qualifications required.
• Commercial RAC experience essential.

• Strong technical knowledge.
• Heat Pumps experience beneficial but not essential.
• Teaching or assessing experience desirable but not essential.
• Professional, approachable, and confident engaging learners.
• Motivated to move into training long term.
• Able to commute daily to Northolt.
• Flexible to provide occasional cover at Luton when required.
