Job description

At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join the Breakfast / In Room Dining Team.

As our F&B Operations Manager

You will work across all the food and beverage areas, with your main focus being on Breakfast service. You will be accountable for the day-to-day performance of your division, working alongside the team to deliver results by exceeding guests’ expectations. Your working pattern will be 5 out of 7 days, including brunch on Sundays.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Roster all team members to ensure effective and efficient use of resources, maintaining brand standards.
  2. Ensure team members have the tools they need.
  3. Experience in running dynamic buffet-style services, as well as lunch/dinner services.
  4. Engage with guests and deliver Forbes 4* and above level service in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Recognize departmental challenges and solve multiple undefined problems, improving processes, systems, and products.
  6. Conduct performance reviews, regular check-ins, and manage team engagement and accountability.
  7. Provide coaching and training to the team, both in the moment and regularly.
  8. Stay aware of market trends, implement new initiatives, and collaborate with other departments.
  9. Be flexible to cover other areas of the F&B operation as needed.
