Job Description: F&B Manager - London Marriott Marble Arch, London

Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at London Marriott Hotel Marble Arch. The role involves overseeing all Food and Beverage operations, including culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service. The manager will ensure guest and employee satisfaction, maintain standards, and meet financial goals, while demonstrating knowledge of applicable food and beverage laws and regulations. Developing and implementing business plans for food and beverage is also part of the responsibilities.

Candidate Profile:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related fields.
  • OR a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major, with 2 years experience in the same fields.

Core Work Activities:

  • Developing and Maintaining Budgets: Manage financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction plans; maintain cost management indices; utilize budgets to meet financial objectives.
  • Leading Food and Beverage Team: Manage departments, supervise staff, oversee daily operations, and foster a motivating environment emphasizing teamwork and continuous improvement. Provide excellent customer service and respond proactively to concerns.
  • Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service: Drive service culture, set service expectations, handle guest complaints, and ensure standards exceed guest expectations.
  • Managing Human Resources Activities: Set performance standards, conduct reviews, promote fair treatment, coach staff, develop training programs, and improve team skills.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Comply with accounting procedures, communicate effectively, analyze information for problem-solving, and ensure effective departmental communication.
