Job summary

Premier Inn is seeking a commercially minded Commercial Finance leader to shape the future of our Food & Beverage business, blending financial analysis, commercial strategy and customer insight to identify growth opportunities and improve performance. In this role, you’ll lead the F&B Finance team, partnering with Digital, Marketing, CRM and Operations to drive sales, optimise guest experiences and maximise value across the guest journey.

Hybrid working: 3 days a week in the office.

Qualifications

• Significant experience using financial analysis, modelling and business cases to influence decision making.
• Experience within Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering or Strategic Finance roles.
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of sales drivers, profitability and customer behaviour.
• Experience partnering with Digital, Marketing, CRM, E-commerce or Commercial teams to deliver performance.
• Strong Excel and modelling skills, comfortable with large datasets.
• Experience in commercial finance, strategy or performance management in multi-site consumer business.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the Premier Inn F&B commercial strategy, analysing growth opportunities across breakfast, dinner and drinks using customer and market insights to drive long-term performance.
• Analyse and drive F&B sales through the guest journey, maximising proposition visibility and guest engagement across Premier Inn channels.
• Provide commercial insight and performance analysis, monitor revenue trends and inform strategic decisions to maximise sales.
• Collaborate with Finance, F&B Product, Marketing, Operations and Commercial teams to align propositions, pricing and guest experiences with growth goals.
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities, testing offers and promotions while supporting the wider F&B Finance team.

Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning insight into action? At Premier Inn, we're looking for an exceptional Commercial Finance leader to help shape the future of our Food & Beverage business, combining financial analysis, commercial strategy and customer insight to identify growth opportunities and improve performance.

In this highly influential role, you'll be part of the F&B Finance team, leading the development of our commercial strategy and using data, modelling and performance insight to drive decision making. Working across Finance, Commercial, Product, Marketing, Digital and Operations teams, you'll identify opportunities to grow sales, improve conversion and maximise the value of our Food & Beverage proposition across the guest journey.

What you'll be doing

• Shape and deliver the Premier Inn F&B commercial strategy, identifying and creating financial analysis of growth opportunities across breakfast, dinner and drinks while using customer, market and commercial insights to drive long-term performance.
• Analyse and drive Food & Beverage sales throughout the guest journey, working with Digital, CRM and E-commerce teams to optimise proposition visibility, guest engagement and conversion across Premier Inn channels.
• Provide commercial insight and performance analysis, monitoring revenue trends, competitor activity and key performance drivers to inform strategic decisions, maximise sales and improve commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, F&B Product, Marketing, Operations and Commercial teams, to ensure propositions, pricing, messaging and guest experiences support business growth objectives.
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities, supporting the creation and testing of innovative offers, promotional activity and guest-focused propositions, while providing flexible support across the wider F&B Finance team during key business priorities.
