Job Title: Food and Beverage Attendant (Commis Waiter)
Location: London

The Peninsula London is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant (Commis Waiter) to join our team in the Cantonese Restaurant. This role reports to the Food and Beverage Supervisor and is responsible for delivering exceptional service within the restaurant.

About the Restaurant

Located on the ground floor, Canton Blue is an innovative Chinese restaurant that celebrates the spice-trade union of Asian and British cultures with creative dishes, cocktails, and artisanal teas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create memorable guest experiences through excellent service and a unique food and beverage offering.
  2. Understand all food and beverage items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and service sequences.
  3. Participate proactively in hotel activities and training sessions.
  4. Maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues to foster productive working relationships.
General Requirements
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage, with a preference for Asian cuisine.
  • Experience in bar or barista duties is advantageous but not required.
  • Additional languages are a plus.
  • Friendly, positive, flexible, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
