The role
MAG's Finance & Accounting (F&A) Team are currently recruiting for an F&A Assistant Accountant to join on a permanent basis. This role will provide support to the F&A Finance Manager who is responsible for leading all Management Accounting activity for the Stansted Division ensuring that accurate, technically robust managements accounts are produced in a timely manner and in line with group finance service levels. What will make you successful in the role?
You'll be as a minimum qualified AAT or a part qualified accountant, studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with ambition and a "can do" attitude. You'll have the ability to actively engage business stakeholders as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. You'll have relevant experience of working within a General Ledger function at a similar level, experience of SAP or similar ERP systems and you'll need intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
