Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic for the F-35 programme at RAF Marham. You will join a dedicated team maintaining one of the UK’s most advanced military platforms and contribute to airworthiness and safety across a range of tasks.

The role requires strong regulatory experience (EASA Part 145) and a background in aeronautical engineering or equivalent military training. Based at RAF Marham, it offers exposure to cutting-edge aerospace technology and active operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience applying EASA/MRP Part 145 regulations.
• Experience supporting complex military aircraft programmes.
• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military training.
• City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Approved Technical Information, risk assessments and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure maintenance documentation and airworthiness records are accurate and up to date.
• Identify, report and upscale technical issues or discrepancies.
• Comply with MOE procedures and organisational standards.
• Apply Human Factors and Safety Management System principles in maintenance tasks.
• Support Continuing Airworthiness Assurance through compliant work.
• Perform aircraft maintenance tasks including role changes, component removal/installations, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectification, replacements and testing.
