The Government Training Engineering (GTE) F-22 Engineering Integration & Systems Team is seeking a highly motivated Experienced Systems Engineer to serve as the F-22 Sites and Proposals Product Manager. This role involves being the primary point of contact for external and internal customer interactions, ensuring program expectations are met. The position offers interaction with the USAF Program Office, Air Combat Command, Maintenance Training Instructors, and Maintainers of the F-22 Raptor.

The team is responsible for proposal, development, integration, delivery, and sustainment of training products for the F-22 Raptor, including:

  • Mission Training Center (MTC)
  • Weapon and Tactics Trainer (WTT)
  • Deployable Training Device (DTD)
  • Aft Fuselage Trainer (AFT)
  • Armament Trainer (AT)
  • Cockpit and Forward Fuselage Trainer (CFFT)
  • Fuel System Trainer (FST)
  • Landing Gear Trainer (LGT)
  • Seat and Canopy Trainer (SCT)
  • On-Equipment Structures Trainer

The role involves coordinating Trainer sustainment activities, managing material acquisition, and driving technical refresh actions. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing Trainer availability data, mitigating downtime effects, coordinating repairs, and working with technicians and engineers to ensure Trainer availability exceeds training needs.

You will also lead proposal development, coordinate program activities, and manage projects involving multiple stakeholders to ensure success. This is an onsite position at the Berkeley, MO facility.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical, business, and integration leadership
  • Managing project scope and changes
  • Supporting proposal development and engineering execution
  • Developing and managing SOW and SSOW
  • Planning risk mitigation and opportunities
  • Maintaining EVM metrics and managing project performance
  • Defining features based on stakeholder priorities
  • Managing product release schedules
  • Ensuring product quality and adherence to schedule and cost targets
  • Championing process improvements and corrective actions
Security Clearance:
  • U.S. Citizenship required for U.S. Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years managing projects with Earned Value Management reporting
  • 3+ years in engineering project management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with System Requirements, SOW, and Earned Value Management
  • Experience as an agile Product Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master
  • Knowledge of aircraft platforms, aviation, simulation, and training systems
  • Experience with agile tools like JIRA or VersionOne
  • Proposal development and contract negotiation skills
  • Software engineering experience
  • Collaborative, proactive team player with a focus on quality and excellence

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education (e.g., Master’s +3 years)
  • Relocation assistance may be available
  • Occasional travel (~10%)

Benefits and Compensation:

Competitive salary range: $97,750 - $132,250, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and more. Application deadline: May 29, 2025.
