A leading school in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant with SEN experience to join their dedicated team. The fixed-term role requires support for EYFS and Year 1 children, particularly those with additional needs. Ideal candidates will have experience in an inclusive environment and a passion for children's wellbeing and growth. Working hours are from 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a passionate and committed teaching assistant with SEN experience to join our wonderful school, working within the EYFS and Year 1. The role will involve mostly working with a small group of children with additional needs, both in their classrooms and within a specially set up provision space.

Working hours are 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday - Friday, term-time only plus 5 training days. We may be able to consider different hours for the right candidate.

This is a fixed-term position until 31st August 2026, although this may be extended depending on pupil needs at that time.

Do you?

  • Have experience of working with EYFS / Year 1 children.
  • Have experience of working with children with SEN and want to use your knowledge and skills to support their progress.
