EYFS Tutor – Rochdale (OL16)
Inspire early learners through creative, play-based tuition.

We’re seeking a dedicated and nurturing EYFS tutor to support young children in the Rochdale (OL16) area who are currently outside of mainstream education. These pupils may be awaiting a school place, have additional needs, or benefit from one-to-one support in their early learning journey.

Tuition is delivered in the home or in a local library, and we welcome tutors with a strong background in play-based and child-led learning, aligned with the EYFS framework.

You will:

  • Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate sessions

  • Use play and creativity to build early literacy, numeracy, and social skills

  • Adapt to a range of needs, including SEND or anxiety

  • Help children achieve EYFS milestones in a nurturing environment

Requirements:

  • Experience with EYFS or early years education

  • Understanding of play-based learning approaches

  • Calm, patient, and flexible attitude

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

What’s offered:

  • £25–£30 per hour (depending on experience)

  • Flexible weekday hours between 8am–4pm

  • Weekly pay via PAYE

  • Support from a dedicated consultant and access to CPD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
