Pay Rate: Up to £110 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a nurturing and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming early year setting located in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and wants to help shape their learning in the foundation stage.

Role Overview:
As an Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA), you will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception), helping them develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills through creative and structured activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom setup, daily routines, and learning activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and EYFS team to deliver high-quality provision.

Requirements for EYFS TA:

• Previous experience working in an EYFS setting is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
• Good understanding of early childhood development and learning strategies.
• An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
