GSL Education are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Doncaster. This full-time, long-term role is set to begin in September 2025 and offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated Early Years team.

Role Overview:
As an Early Years Foundation Stage TA, you will help create a warm and engaging learning environment for children aged 3 to 5. You will assist the class teacher in delivering early years’ education, supporting children’s development in communication, literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Responsibilities as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

• Support the planning and delivery of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils to support learning and development.
• Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
• Help with assessments and record keeping.
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.

Requirements for EYFS Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
• A caring, patient, and encouraging approach.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
