London Borough of Bromley Council is seeking a Prep School EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team for January 2027. The post is 37.5 hours per week, term-time only (36 weeks per year) with a salary of £22,637 per annum (£26,410 FTE).

You will support children aged 2.5 to 5, require a Level 3 Early Years qualification, and have strong communication skills, patience and IT literacy to work within a busy classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years, or equivalent.
• Experience with children aged 2.5–5, nursery or reception setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and how children learn through play.
• Able to support language, phonics and early numeracy development.
• Willing to assist with personal care and daily routines when needed.
• Excellent communicator with IT proficiency.
