The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification and has experience in nursery/EYFS settings, with solid safeguarding knowledge and a patient, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification - essential.
• Previous experience working within a nursery, Early Years or EYFS setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Caring, patient and proactive approach.
• Confident supporting children aged 0-5.
• Reliable and able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the Early Years within a nursery school setting.
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging EYFS activities.
• Provide individual and small-group support where required.
• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Help monitor and record children's progress and next steps.
• Support children with personal care where required.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Work closely with teachers and Early Years practitioners.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding and nursery policies at all times.
