Job description

EYFS Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis at a local East Riding school. This role is to cover a planned absence, starting at half term, with a week-by-week basis. The pay ranges from £90 to £100 per day initially. The position involves working five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

The role requires supporting a child in EYFS on a one-to-one basis. The child has undiagnosed needs and exhibits behavior challenges. Experience supporting SEND and behavior management is preferred. You will also be involved in delivering phonics, so knowledge of phonics is essential.

The school is located within the East Riding and is easily accessible by car, with free staff parking available. Public transport options are limited unless you are local. The school has a strong reputation in the area.

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Have experience working in UK schools.
  • Support SEND pupils and have knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
