EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Early Years teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity?

Tradewind are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join a Leigh school, working in their reception class. The role is full-time, 5 days a week, starting in September for the full academic year. Working hours are 8.30-3.30, with daily pay rates of £89-£99.

As a teaching assistant, you will support the classroom teacher in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support for children with SEN, and maintaining a safe and orderly classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for working with young children.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification
  • Have experience working with Early Years children
  • SEN experience is advantageous
  • Experience in a relevant classroom environment
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references
  • Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment where possible
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
