Job description

Role: SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth
Pay rate: 105 - 120 per day - dependant on experience
Start date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time Term-time only Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 3.30pm

Remedy are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team, supporting children aged 3-5 in both Nursery and Reception classes.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum in a creative and engaging way
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with children to support learning and development
  • Foster a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
  • Assist with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and expressive arts activities
  • Observe and record children's progress, contributing to planning and assessments
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social skills
  • Support with personal care routines where needed
  • Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents
