Job summary

A leading education recruitment partner is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant for a long-term position at a thriving primary school in Forest Row. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans and provide support to young learners in a nurturing environment. Strong communication, planning skills, and a passion for early years education are essential for this role. Full-time commitment is required, starting in January 2024.

A thriving primary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive EYFS team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to:

Responsibilities
  • Create engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the diverse needs of EYFS children, fostering a love of learning through exploration, creativity, and active participation.
  • Provide individual and small group support to ensure every child is actively engaged and making good progress.
  • Observe and assess children's development providing feedback to the teacher and contributing to their individual learning plans.
  • Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment where all children feel safe, supported, and valued.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Passionate about Early Years Education: A genuine love for working with young children and a deep understanding of their developmental needs.
  • Strong Planning & Preparation Skills: Experience in developing engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Excellent Communication & Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with teachers, other support staff, and parents.
  • Creative & Enthusiastic: A positive and energetic approach to teaching, with the ability to bring learning to life.
  • Committed to Inclusion: Understanding and experience in supporting children with diverse needs.

  • Days: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
