EYFS Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

Gateshead, NE16

GBP440 GBP460 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2025 - July 2026

The School and Role

Vision for Education is seeking to recruit an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2025, at a Primary School in Gateshead (NE16). Joining a vibrant staff body, the EYFS Teaching Assistant appointed will provide general support in the nursery provision at school. This is a school where children are enabled to reach their full potential and create an atmosphere of respect.

Requirements

The desired EYFS Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
