Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a teaching support assistant for an ASD-specific special school in Wolverhampton. The role involves supporting pupils in the EYFS reception class, particularly those with autism and communication difficulties. The position is long-term and requires relevant experience and a DBS check.
We are currently looking for a teaching support assistant to support pupils in the EYFS reception class in an ASD-specific special school. The pupil has suspected autism and some communication difficulties. They do not have challenging behaviour; however, they sometimes get frustrated when they are unable to do a task or get confused.
Experience in supporting within the EYFS curriculum would be highly desirable, and supporting individuals with learning and cognition needs is essential. The position is long-term for the right person and will be ongoing for the academic year.
The school is located in Wolverhampton and is easily accessible via public transport.
