Pocklington Prep School is seeking a highly experienced Teaching Assistant to support a class in EYFS. The role involves practical, fun tasks to aid learning, group work, 1:1 reading support and resource preparation.

Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, during term time only. A caring, enthusiastic communicator with Level 3 in teaching support is required, with a focus on teamwork and pupil wellbeing.

Competenze

• Experience in EYFS or with younger children is desirable.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools.
• English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.

Mansioni

• Assist classroom teachers with administration and organisation, preparing resources and displays.
• Plan and lead group activities and support pupils in 1:1 reading sessions.
• Supervise play areas and help maintain records and assessments.
