Job summary

Long Term Futures is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work full time on a long-term temporary basis in a small closed setting. The role involves 1:1 support with students, personal care if needed, and aiding the class teacher with the EYFS curriculum through play and phonics.

This position is ideal for candidates with EYFS and SEN experience who are patient, reliable, and committed to a long-term placement. Level 3 EYFS or TA qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting EYFS pupils with ASD and other needs.
• Creative approach to learning and flexibility to adapt activities to diverse needs.
• Compassionate, patient demeanour with ability to respond to individual needs.
• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement.
• Level 3 EYFS or TA qualification advantageous.
• Personal care experience or willingness to perform.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the EYFS curriculum with learning through play and phonics.
• Providing 1:1 support to students with high needs, including personal care when required.
• Working in the EYFS classroom supporting students with ASD or other needs.
• Ensuring pupils are safe and secure at all times.
