Are you an experienced Early Years teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a Wigan school, working in their reception class. The role is on a full-time basis, 5 days a week, starting in September and continuing for the full academic year. The working hours are 8.30-3.30 with daily pay rates of £85-£90.

As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children. You will assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support for children with SEN, and helping to maintain a safe and orderly classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, as well as a passion for working with young children.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

• Experience of working with Early Years children
• SEN experience would be an advantage
• Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
