Job Description:

The Head Teacher of a vibrant mainstream Primary School & Nursery is searching for a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to fill a full-time & long-term position. It is important that you have sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to plan effective interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 3 Qualified EYFS practitioner – CACHE L3 or equivalent
• Experience supporting children aged 3-5 with EAL & SEN
• 2:1 or above at degree level is ideal
• Experience working in a private/mainstream Nursery or Reception class
• Previous training in Read Write Inc or Jolly Phonics is desirable

Candidate Qualities:

• Bright, enthusiastic & qualified Level 3 Practitioners
• Ambitious individuals keen to challenge themselves
• Ability to deliver targeted Phonics & Maths
• Occasional 1:1 work with SEN children
