Job summary

Empowering Learning is helping a welcoming Bolton primary school recruit an EYFS Teaching Assistant from 1st September. You will support the Early Years team in a Nursery/Reception environment, delivering play-based activities and helping children develop confidence and basic literacy and numeracy skills.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £14.25–£17.00 per hour. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with pupils and contribute to an inclusive,

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an Early Years or primary school setting.
  • Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable).
  • Ability to create a fun, safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Genuine passion for supporting young children.

Responsibilities

EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Bolton (BL1)
Start Date: 1st September
Contract: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Pay: 14.25 - 17.00 per hour

Are you passionate about giving young children the very best start to their education?

A caring and inclusive Primary School in Bolton (BL1) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from 1st September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant Nursery/Reception environment where you'll help children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with pupils, support learning through play and become an integral member of their Early Years team.

Your Role

Working alongside the class teacher, you will:

  • Support children with their learning and development throughout the school day
  • Deliver engaging activities through play-based learning
  • Assist with early phonics, communication, literacy and numeracy development

  • Encourage children's independence, confidence and social skills
  • Help prepare resources and maintain an engaging classroom environment
