A supportive primary school in Southwark is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has experience supporting children with SEN.

The Role:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years curriculum.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN, ensuring they are fully included in all activities.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, communication, and social skills through creative play and structured learning.
  • Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant, ideally supporting children with SEN.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • A proactive and positive approach to supporting young learners.
