Position: Teaching Assistant in EYFS

A 3-form entry Primary School in the BS4 area is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team from after Easter.

This Primary School aspires to treat everyone inclusively and recognises the importance of a holistic approach to education. Building a strong community is a key priority, supporting the growth and development of staff, pupils, and the surrounding community.

The Role

This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 3:15 pm).

The Head Teacher seeks a candidate with excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum to support the Class Teacher and adapt activities to meet children's needs using your initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assess children’s development confidently.
• Support the Class Teacher in delivering exceptional learning experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Deliver activities both inside and outside the classroom.
• Work with small groups and on a 1-to-1 basis.
