Job summary

Gaskell Primary in Bolton is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join our supportive team for a fixed-term maternity cover starting January 2027. You will lead a dynamic, play-based classroom where curiosity and enquiry drive learning, and you will create a warm, inclusive environment that values every child.

You will design engaging activities, observe progress, assess outcomes, and work closely with parents to support each child’s development during the early years.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering play-based learning aligned to the EYFS framework.
• Ability to observe and assess children’s progress and plan next steps.
• Strong communication with parents and carers to support development.
