MATERNITY COVER TEMPORARY NURSERY CLASS TEACHER

REQUIRED FROM JANUARY 2026 FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR.

MAIN SCALE/UPS.

M1-M6: £32,016-£45,352

UPS1-UPS3: £47,472-£51,048

Required for Spring Term 2026 or as soon as possible afterwards.

About the School

The Governing Body of this popular school wish to recruit an EYFS trained and enthusiastic professional with excellent classroom practice to join our friendly and committed team. This temporary post is not suitable for ECTs.

Requirements

The successful applicant will have:

  • A passion for teaching in the Early Years
  • Be a practising Catholic or supportive of our strong Catholic ethos and vision
  • Good to outstanding classroom practice, with high expectations and commitment to raising standards
  • Ability to lead a curriculum area or do so in the future
  • Clear understanding of the EYFS curriculum
