EYFS Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to the needs of EYFS children.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
• Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear learning objectives.
• Encourage children to develop independence, creativity, and a love of learning through play-based and structured activities.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure that the EYFS curriculum is delivered effectively and creatively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress and well-being.
• Take part in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities to contribute to the overall success of the school.

EYFS Teacher Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching in EYFS, with a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A flexible, team-player who is eager to collaborate and grow professionally.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and high teaching standards.
