Job summary

Avanti Fields School in Leicester is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to contribute to the learning, development and achievement of our youngest pupils. You will deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that builds on children’s strengths, interests and prior learning in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which they can flourish.

You will inspire curiosity, encourage independence and help children develop the confidence and skills they need as they begin their educational journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant or allied subject.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS teaching that meets the needs of all pupils and supports their learning, progress and achievement.
• Create a safe, stimulating and respectful learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Use observation and assessment effectively to identify needs and provide appropriate challenge and support.
• Work with colleagues, families and external partners to promote pupils’ development and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the wider life and ethos of Avanti Fields School while upholding safeguarding standards.
