As an EYFS Teacher and Leader at Kemnal, you will write the very first chapter of a child's school story: stories, songs, number games and imaginative play, building language and confidence in equal measure. Your continuous provision will be rich, indoors and out. Your expectations will be high. And your classroom will be a place where every child is known, valued, and ready to be amazed.
We are looking for a teacher who is as happy on the carpet as at the planning table, and who believes that strong early foundations open doors for life.
The ideal EYFS Teacher and Leader will be someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status and has experience of working in an EYFS setting.
Has a sound understanding of the EYFS framework, the EYFS curriculum and play-based learning.
Plans and delivers an inspiring, broad and balanced curriculum, motivating children's learning through experience and interests, indoors and outdoors.
Develops children's personal, social, language, mathematical and creative skills through stories, songs, games and imaginative play.
Builds warm, effective relationships with children, and provides pastoral care in a safe, secure environment.
Adapts teaching to meet pupils' needs and works collaboratively with the EYFS Lead and wider EYFS team.
Brings high expectations, a positive outlook, flexibility, and a joy for teaching young children.
